Faridat Ibidun, the exceptional Program Manager in charge of Youth and Women Development at Future Builders Initiative (FBI), is embarking on a remarkable journey as she has been chosen as one of the 90 young leaders from around the world to participate in United People Global’s (UPG) 2023 delegation to Hurricane Island Center for Science and Leadership in Maine, USA. The fully-funded program is a testament to Faridat’s dedication and talent, making her a shining example of positive impact and inspiring leadership.

Faridat’s journey began at the age of 12, where she discovered the power of her voice and her unwavering commitment to creating positive change. Throughout her career, Faridat has been a driving force in her local government in Osun State, Nigeria. As a Raising New Voices fellow and later as part of the prestigious Nigeria Green Academy, Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung program, she has left an indelible mark, inspiring many with her passion for community development.

In 2023, Faridat’s journey reached new heights with her selection for UPG’s delegation. Out of over 7400+ applicants, she stood out among an exceptional group of young leaders, showcasing her talent, dedication, and potential to effect global change.
